The modern ceramic vase was made with the “colombino” shaping technique, finished and decorated by hand in a single example. The work that represents a piece of contemporary art is made in a modern style by the artist Bianca Maria Scarinci. All the reliefs and shapes of the decoration as a whole are highlighted by the crystalline and the dripping enamel.
The coiling process involves the creation of clay “bigoli”, or drawn cords that are attached one on top of the other starting from the base. This process allows you to obtain rounded, cylindrical, flared, conical, irregular objects, even large ones, etc. In particular, to model the vase, with the clay bigoli, several hours of work were necessary. The transparent crystalline is both inside and outside. You can pour water inside the vase, for example.
The colombino ceramic vase, a furnishing accessory, was created in a modern style and is a one-of-a-kind work. As proof of the uniqueness and craftsmanship of the work, the certificate of authenticity will also be sent at the time of shipment.
